How many other people are also going to play on Mechwarrior Tactics? For those not familiar with it, Tactics appears to be very similar to Mechwarrior Online, but with a decidedly RTS style of gameplay. I haven't found much information concerning it yet, but it looks interesting. Needless to say, I've reserved a Commander Name.

Does anyone else have more information concerning Tactics? I think that it is by a different company than Piranha; I wonder if there will be any setting parallels regardless though...

it is a different company from PGI, and no one but the DEVs of MWT i think have much more information than we do. yet.

I am hoping for something similar to Megamek but more user friendly, fancy 3D graphics and animations and an inbuilt meta game. Hopefully it will be to Megamek and the Shack/MekWars etc. what MWO will be to MW4 and W!O/MWL/NBT etc.

I never had the opportunity to get involve with the TT aspects of MW/BT, to my regret and I'm hoping for this game to provide me with some sort of an equivalent. (altho I'm not actually expecting it to be as detailed or meticulous as the TT).

Here are some fantastic pics, funny many of them are mirrored, like the Dragon, the AC is on the wrong arm. I just mirror the pics and they look great. I'm jazzed about this.

I'm really not liking the art style of the mechs in those pics. If the ingame is anything like them, I'll pass on this one. They look more cartoonish to me than they should, it just doesn't seem to fit well.

GDC is just around the corner, guess then PGI will reveal some more facts about MWO

I like the screenshoots from MWT too.

Guess it will be 2 new games for me in summer.
