I was in Job Corps in Utah, and in my dorm I heard that it had happened, dismissed it. Job Corps was worse than a small town for false rumors. I went outside, heard it again, dismissed it, told friends it had to be fake, it was Job Corps. We went into our Trade and they had a TV set up (we didnt have TVs in our dorms) and I found out it was real.
when the second plane hit. One of my friends there's sister worked in the towers but she called in. We were allowed to all call family and make sure they were OK.
Where were the players here when this happened?

The one and only time a customer has ever kicked me off a job in 20 years in the trade.
"Go home and be with your family" was pretty much all he said. This was not open for negotiation.
I did. In time to watch the second plane live on tv.
My heroes died going UP the stairs.

I wasnt that surprised since airplane accidents happens... and just a couple of years ago in France there was that accident with the Concorde airplane... so "no big deal" i tought.... I walked to the living room to see that. 10 minutes later or so i saw the other plane crashed into the second tower.
My imediate first tought: "dafraq?... thats not an accident..." And i glued myself into the television on the next hours.

I had morning classes in college.
Saw something on the news with my mom and asked if this was a weird commercial or something.
That's when the second plane hit and I slowly woke up to the idea I wasn't watching a promotion.
Classes were cancelled that day.

All I remember thinking was "it's gonna get worse."
And it did.

AI was watching something on TV about people that survived it (one was in the actual office in the second tower where the plane hit) and they said the buildings swayed and they thought they were going to go over when it happened. I cant even imagine.
