I can't really see a legal reason why they would age restrict the beta. There is no content that would be considered age inappropriate by any region. And he's not getting paid for playing, so its not like he's child labor. With honesty, it's probably for quality of feedback.

I fully agree with this good sir. Or at least get some kind of compensation.

Age of Consent. As a 13 year old the OP is not legally able to give consent, and therefore, cannot be held accountable if rules are broken. Now if the parents were brought into this, then they could sign the NDA and be the responsible party.

A question I have is, how did a 13 year old have a credit/debit card? And don't you need to 18 to have a paypal account?

What makes you think a 13 year old have a Credit Card or Paypal account?
It could be that guy had his parents agree to let him use their card for this or it could even have been a gift from his parents.

There could be many reasons, dont mean a 13 year old has a CC or PP account.

While I applaud your honesty and apparent maturity, it is always just easier to lie on those "what is your age" if you're under the required age.

But this guy had correct spelling and grammar, and doesn't seem like a rageholic, so I think he should get a pass.

A good point. Thank you for the rebuke. ;)

while not a requirement, most people would prefer he retain something of 'moral character"

Yep, I agree, but I remember that all funny stuff on internet were hidden behind this "Are you old enough?" questions. And trust me, it was easy decide to write some nonsence (70 years old man, trust me :P.

Now Im old enough to get almost everywhere (maybe if some seniors page have account limited to 60+ people, I cant get in), but still have problem write my personal data to anyone whos asking for them - just for my own safety.

I dont have problem with telling CGI or Wargaming my true data because these are devs who works on my favourite games and I want be part of this, but another ones are different case (EA for example XD).
