Now I absolutely have to split with between IS and Clan. I won't just pick one or the other.

IS
Light: Locust LCT-3M
Medium: Pheonix Hawk PXH-3M
Heavy: Marauder MAD-5D
Assault: Awesome AWS-9M

I also used my own version of the awesome listed at the end of my short story http://mwomercs.com/...ce-short-story/ but it was specially built not a refit. I felt this was what the Awesome was always meant to be

Clan
Light: Puma - Prime (Primary Weapons Configuration)
Medium: Blackhawk - Prime
Heavy: Vulture - Prime
Assault: Masakari - Prime

As you can see with clan I didn't mess with them much. The primary configurations were all amazing.

If I could pick one mech from each class is pretty tough, but here's my choices:

Light: Raven
Medium: Wolftrap
Heavy: Thug
Assault: Imp


The Thug isn't a common choice, I know, but explore the customizations that it's inexpensive design allows for! As for the Imp, Wolf's Dragoons FTW. The Wolftrap I like because it's a logical improvement over the Centurion in that its an omnimech with basically the same basic loadout, but because its an omni it has that added versatility.
