the story: starting from the lower half of caustic my team all went to the ridge. we looked left and right.... nothing. i thought they could be going well past 3 line for a cap but someone else said they could be camping. we all agreed that's what was happening. i kept an eye on 3 line whilst my team ventured further out to the other side to flank e5. so i was alone so decided to stay in the open and snipe e4. i pot shotted an atlas a hunchback and something else before throwing at long range 3 alphas on a dragon. at the range i was at it wasn't a big deal of damage but he pulled back in, i hadn't checked the names involved at this point but little did i know it was sir roland. so i went into the cauldra and poked back through the ridge on e4 to find the enemy all sitting there waiting to pounce on the unknowing. little did they know whilst i was constantly being tracked the other 7 was about to slam into their right side... so i moved back into the cauldra pulling up an atlas and a hunchi.

then all of a sudden a dragon made a huge charge straight for me and i alphed the ct. he went boom with 3-5 componants being destroyed before landing at my feet and a pilot going WTF! i said sorry and he was saying it's okay shouldn't had run in with a poor ct etc. meanwhile i had backed off out of the cauldra and unbeknownst to me the enemy had been pushed out of e5 and they were retreating through 3 line... i was swamped by focus fire from 5 of them and died. so continuing chatter we then recognised eachother! "you are a memester sir?" sir roland asked. "me gusta" i replied and we both had a good laugh. it was a great match and i look forward to seeing you on the field roland!



a footnote: i've been using cataphracts recently and yes i try and avoid guns in those arms because you have to stand out in the open to avoid turf and side building flop shots, 4x is really bad as it's main hardpoints are in the arms and the engine max is so low you can't make it faster for brawling purposes either. my 5 lrg laser stalker is better than an 4x in every way saddly.
