By the way. These stats in the spider are mostly PuG, my Merc Corp people aren't online. Whereas my 3A stats were half Merc Corp half PuG. Also, if you check the decimal places. the Spider's KDR is about 9.44 rounded down. The Commando's KDR is about 9.36 rounded up. It looks the same, but actually the Spider's KDR is HIGHER than the 3A in spite of having lesser firepower.
Also, something's strange. If you average out the WLR, it's about 1.3 to 1.4 ish, weighted. This seems to be a sign that ELO is not actually working as intended - otherwise, it should be exactly 1. I shouldn't be winning more games than I lose... unless the matchmaker isn't working properly.
Now failures in balance cause matches to become like scissors-paper-stone, but it won't change match outcomes in the long run - that's ELO/Matchmaking's job.
I can only think of 2 reasons for this failure of ELO to reduce my WLR to 1.
1. I'm already at the top of ELO, so there's nowhere higher to go. Therefore I'm matched against people of lower skill, and therefore win much more often than I lose. (Skeptical of this, there are quite a few good pilots out there.)
2. All light mechs are overpowered, and by piloting almost exclusively lights, I bias every single match I'm in towards a win by guaranteeing the team a light mech. Given how the SDR-5K with its impressive firepower of
10 can pull games with 3 kills and 350+ damage... it's probably this.
