Kind of a thing I've noticed: I love the Cataphract 3D base weapon loadout, but hate the 'right-handedness' of the mech. So instead of an XL I have a standard engine of the same rating. What's amusing is, people will rip my RT off, and without fail 90% of those who do will either stop firing for several seconds, or just ignore me after completely. Granted I have only 2 ML at that point, but it's always funny to see people be surprised that I'm not dead.

And half the mech builds out there still benefit less from coolant flush than from... adv target decay, target information or advanced sensors. And the three of them usually take up all the available module slots already.



I make a point to type 'I liek XL' in all chat every single time I blow up an Assault's side XL. Which is basically, every time someone mounts one. Their weapon loadouts make it kind of obvious.
