So some of you might have seen my entry for the NGNG art contest. My entry was a bit rushed and I wasn´t really satisfied with the outcome. Here´s a slightly different perspective and some touch-ups.

That is not 3d model, it is art. We are looking forward to see what this artist can do for the next art contest Hopefully he will have some competition this time!

3D elements have been used for perspective and lighting reference, rest is brush. If you can´t tell the I take it as a compliment

I believe he is doing it with the SPINE of his opponite.
I made a story once involving my character, he rented his cockpit off it's form and began to beat the battlemech to death, with it's own cockpit.
