As absolutely awesome as Battletech/Mechwarrior is, its fans have always been a small niche community(as evidenced by no big publishers taking a risk on it this time around). If MWO is going to thrive we are going to need a healthy and growing community; a community that will have to include many people who are not already fans. That being said, I think it would be of great benefit to the whole franchise if you guys would add a section to the website dedicated to providing Battletech and Mechwarrior Universe information/history for people who are completely new to Mechwarrior. That could be links to other official sites and/or community/fan sites. That way we can increase the number of people in the community who have a genuine love of the Battletech/Mechwarrior Universe before the game goes live.

Microsoft was and still is a big publisher. Btech is a niche that is smaller to the likes of DnD and Warhammer 40k but I think you are underestimating how big battletech used to be (we would probably agree in its current state).
I'm actually surprised I don't see a direct link to Catalyst's website.

I meant the publishers not taking a risk on it this time around, sorry for the confusion.
