I dont know what passes for educated in the lesser Houses, but apparently they dont teach you what they taught me on Prosperpina - Occams Razor. The most likely answer is that the Kell Hounds, being essentially pirates themselves, either allied with the pirates they were hunting, and are biding their time, or being as poor a mechwarrior as pirates, they killed each other off. Simple as that.

All of this talk of the heirs of the Star League returning is just foolishness. The Star League has fallen, and the only real heirs of its glory are here in the Draconis Combine. Really, the return of the Star League. Whats shall we hear from you fools next - space aliens?
