It won`t be possible for me to go online during the next days... so I think this is the right time and the right place to say it:

I wish you all the best for GDC! Have a good trip and a great time.

You may already know it because of the enthusiasm all over here but you really really performed a miracle with this project.
I had a very hard accident in summer `10 with many crushed bones and so on.... my mood in the last time was pretty.....well......"not good".
But this project made me take out all the good old BT-novels, playing the good old games again, talking to good old friends and last but definitely not least: I just can`t await to play Mechwarrior Online. I am sooo looking forward to this game. It`s a pleasant anticipation.

Back in good old times... back in that cockpit... back in the future! :)

I still don`t know you guys personally but you need to know: I am damn thankful to you. :)

There is no doubt about this - you will produce a great new Mechwarrior Game AND WE WILL LOVE IT!!!!!!!! :)

To the whole Dev team: Thank you so much for this! All us MW lovers that you guys found as soon as we knew about this are loving the prospect. Max respect to all of you for all you've done guys, and keep it up. I'm sure we'll all lap it up regardless of what you put to us.

Now that's out of the way...guys, thanks even more so for being an active part of the forums - knowing that we're talking to the developers and not being ignored is something that makes all the difference.

Anthill suggested that we should have a dev appreciation thread, and I agree.

We can appreciate them when they have successfully launched the game and taken our hard-earned cash which we have been waiting for months to give. :)

I would just like to say a big thank you to all the team. The Dev team who have been on the forums and have posted large amounts have been friendly and informative when they can be, it has been a large plus with this project. Those who haven't posted very much have been fun and in-depth informative. Those who we haven't heard from (or not very much) I look forward to reading what you have to say when you have time. I really enjoyed the last Dev Blog where we got to meet more of the team.

My biggest thanks are to Alex. I cam into the universe in the early 2000's and started with the novels from the start of the clan invasion and bought them in order. I used to look at the rear of the book first to get the artists impression of what the mechs looked at. While I was excited to see them I was also a little dissapointed that they always had the same 1980's dated pictures in, things slightly improved going through the timeline however, not very much. I remember getting MW3, MC1, MW4, MW4M and MC2 in that order and thinking how (most of the designs) were a vast improvement on the pictures I had seen previously. However, the concept art (and how it has been adapted in the trialer) has shown how awesome the mechs can look (in most cases better than I had pictured them in my mind from reading the novels). I also gather you have moved to Vanncouver to help with the development of the game. I take my hat off to you sir and the rest of the Dev team, those that we know and also the unseen.

I say we put Paul and Matt in a ring and let them fight to see who truly deserves our appreciation.

The clans got their "circle of equals". I wonder how would this might be called! :)

Nice to see you're still there and fit, Metro! :)
When you yesterday disappeared, I feared the worst!
What happened, did Paul locked you in @McDonalds? :)

"My Ban Hammer is now made of Rubber."
I might be wrong, but doesn't this line said Community Moderator yesterday?!?

You are not wrong. Paul has changed it because Metro started to act up.
Edit: At least i think it was Paul.

I plan on thanking them with money, but since they haven't given me a way to throw money at them yet, I figured we should just yell happy thoughts at them instead!

No, a million times it!

I just found out about MWO literally yesterday night. I've already blabbed about it to all my TT BattleTech friends, as well as on G+. After doing a LOT of reading in the forums, I have to say the DEV team ROCKS.

But especially Paul, whose sig I kind of stole to have someone else make a sig of it for me to show how much I like his sense of humor.

Team TROLOLOL FTW!

From the first day i read the forums a few short weeks ago, I knew this game was going to be good. The devs are reasonale and accessable. PWE and SOE could seriously take a page from PG'S book....well, probably more like some chapters.

Thanks guys, we are all looking forward to piloting some Mechs again.

I hope that you guys have a good time at GDC. try to keep your heads above water with everything that goes on there. one thing i can recommend is to take the time while you are there ad take a few hours and look around.

Good thread! From all the members of the 1st Blackburns Raiders, I would like to thank the developers for all their hard work, including their research into canon and their communication and love for the community. You guys have done a great job so far. I have never been as excited about a game. Keep up the good work guys!

Going in depth into the world to make sure they get things right is amazing, especially following the debacle that was Mechassault.
