This is it, everyone even little experienced in RPGs should start counting every second. Mass Effect 3 just released its launch trailer. I know it's not MW:O, but it is still epic. Who's going to save galaxy with me?

That trailer was great. Looking foward to it, tried the multiplayer demo out and it was a lot of fun.

I didn't play the demo myself. I want to experience everything "first hand". Reson is partly that when I changed OS, my saves were lost and now I'm still halfway through ME 2, but playing those games for the second time isn't that funny. :)

Meh.

ME1 : A single Reaper starts causing havoc. This single one is made out to be ungodly powerful and a destroyer of worlds. Makes zombie cyborgs out of people, which ends up turning your main Nemesis, Seran or whatever his name was, into a spider laser cyborg. Mhmm.

ME2 : Zombie Shepard. Reapers aren't that big of a deal, there's quite a few of them you know. Let's just kill em bros.

ME3 : Reapers everywhere, fleets and fleets of them that you're going to "heroically" defeat likely with some cliche super weapon buried on some random planet, or more likely, Earth. After the super bad galaxy ending Reaper fleet is defeated you end up going to their homeworld and defeating them forever.

Man, Mass Effect games are so cool

Yeah, I know what you mean. I try to change up how I play when I do a second playthrough, but I usually end up doing the same thing as the first time, so it gets boring, lol.

I know some parts of the story are a bit poorly written. I don't like the sudden change of Reaper power, too, but in the end, it is a very good game. :)

I am SUPER PUMPED FOR THIS GAME WOOOOOOO!

I got the collector's edition, and you can bet your bottom I'll be there at midnight to pick it up. This series is groundbreaking, carrying decisions from one game to the next, and them tying in EVERY decision so far is just incredible. The multiplayer demo was wayyyyy more fun than I thought it was going to be. This is hands down my favorite game series.

Battletech: Humans make walking, physically unrealistic robots with the sole purpose of killing people. Cliche "good guys" and "bad guys" running rampant over a galaxy with no extraterrestrial life aside from humans themselves. Very little militaristic imagination aside from events already performed in history. So cool.

Pretty easy to spin a negative light on a game you don't like, isn't it?

I was excited about it, until I found that if you want the full version with all the weapons and stuff, you have to (1.) pre order the (2.) Special Edition that costs an extra $20 (3.) from a special list of retailers, and you have to (4.) complete a demo version of another game they're plugging.

If I don't buy the fancy version, I'll save $20 but kick myself throughout the entire game, just wondering how those 2 weapons I missed out on could be helpful right now, but I don't want to pay $20 just for a couple guns (and I don't give a rat's tail about the particular swag that comes with the fancy version).

So, I'm gonna save my money and buy a HUla Girl, instead.

Yeah well ... it has origin, so there's no way any sane person could buy it. Sorry to say so, because I want to play that game pretty bad, but I won't pay EA to develop or install malware on my computer.

Second reason not to buy it : A *** **** Prothean character only available to those who pay extra. That's an important part of the story they just cut out and use to make some extra bucks.

I have been counting down the days till ME3 comes out which is the 6th of next week for US and I think the 9th for Europe.
I don't much care so much about all the nice nity gritty swag you get or even the two extra weapons or what ever. I have pre-ordered it, but that's because I want to actual get it because you know ME3 will be flying off the shelves. And I also downloaded the demo. The multi player is very fun. My favorite weapon so far is the Katonah MK X shotgun with the MK V Advanced Choke System and the Muzzle Extension or what ever they are called. Yeah the Katonah has only a five round clip and 25 rounds of extra ammo, but with those two attachments it is amazingly accurite and has WTH kinda range.

Even though I haven't played the previous Mass Effect games, Mass Effect 3 looks kickass!

I have gone through ME1 and 2 several times just so I can set it up just the way I wanted it to be for ME3. How ever I forgot to unlock all of Legion's conversations which you can only do by doing a mission and then talking to him directly after to figure out what the Geth's over all main goal is. I think I am missing one or two, and I am not sure if that will have an impact or not. I have done it before on another save so thats how I know, but I made a few mistakes in that one and do not wish to use. At least not for my first go through.

ME3 just unlocked for pre-purchasers of the DDE (digital deluxe edition), which I totally didn't mind buying. Sure, $20 extra, but decent stuff that will PROBABLY carry over into multiplayer benefits.

Also, the only way I know to buy the DDE is through Origin. There is no physical retail version.

I can't wait to play the full content of the multiplayer in ME3, I've probably played the ME3 multiplayer demo more than I've played some retail games I've owned.
