I'm an Aussie located around Brisbane.

For those concerned with ping times, I'm looking to setup some Vpn tunneled services specifically peered for MW:O

Similar setups I've used in WoW reduced latency from about 550ms to ~230ms.

Not sure on pricing but the vpn access will most likely be around 10au a month. So it just depends on how much you wana play with slightly lower pings.

Can't really do anything until closed beta 2 starts (Aug 7).

Canberran here, soon to be in Japan for the forseeable future and some asian/pacific servers would be a welcome sight. The kind of welcome sight that involves me shoving fistfulls of money at people.

I won't pretend it'll stop me playing, but I'm definitely not going to be taking a Jenner/Raven into a fight with a ping of 250+.

yeah i get an average ping of 230-250 for wot's NA server, and i dont have vpn, or godlike cable, just adsl,, yes adsl, not even 2+ ...though that said, it is an open port

Melbourne here. Not expecting we'll get a local server, but if push comes to shove and it turns out MWO is particularly ping dependant there's always tunnelling through aarnet on the sly. There's always a doctoral student in the physics department at every university that thinks he needs to open up a bunch of ports he really shouldn't for some reason or other.
