So some friends and I are starting a Tabletop RPG, set in 3057, as a mercenary unit operating from Wolcott.

I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on the unit roster we've got for the company

BattleMaster C - This variant was designed by Clan Jade Falcon scientists following the capture of Red Devil Industries during the FedCom Civil War.

I had a Battlemaster in my TT campain and so much wanted the IIC variant.

No Raven or even Locust in the recon? Terrible.
I would also place Loki in the recon as the command mech and swap that 5M for glorious 5S.

Been eons since i observed a TT game so my input is just 2 cents.

Seems kinda heavy on the Clan tech for a "just starting".

I generally prefer units in the Clan eras to not start with many Clan mechs. I make them work for it in game. I think this give the players more of a sense of accomplishment when they eventually get their hands on them.

That said, I'm more than willing to allow custom units for mercs going against the Clans.

So while a Battlemaster IIC may be a no-go (for example), an IS version that happens to sport 1 Clan ER PPC is ok.

Hitman's everything the Raven is but faster.. The clan tech, it is abit heavy, but who am I to complain. what it likely means is we're going to need it. The Battlemaster in question is the same style of one used by the Red Corsair, which was all clan tech, predating the Refusal war.
