I've voted the Hoplite, cause i'm a fan of LB-X AC's and it's a nice design. I agree with Garth. I'd love to see what FD could do with the Hoplite.

EDIT: Another reason why i've voted the Hoplite is the fact, that MW:O need more chickenwalkers.

Dervish, I guess, I'm a fan of jump jets. Not really a fan of any of these though. Like those blasfemous 55's, Shadow Hawk, Wolverine and Griffin.

These trips down memory lane with old BTech chassis designs always make me laugh. I think the artists back then had about 2 or 3 basic design patterns that 80% of the Mechs fell into.

The Hoplite was the only unique chassis of the 3, but the Dervish gets my vote.

Can I ask something?

Where are the medium lasers of the Dervish?

Because with the new pic of that mech realeased at GDC, which has rocket launchers on it + those double medium lasers we see, it is one of the candidates.

P.S: Or a mech with at least one LRM, and 6 medium lasers (4 on arms and 2 on lower torso). Medium and up. Any suggestions?

dervish. i too would love to see an update of the hoplte tho. that horrible picture looks like it only has one leg.

Lets do the hoplite so we can avoid adding yet another humanoid mech to the mix. We already seem to be heading towards way too many of those. I like the nonhumanoid ones best. I know many of these are clan (Stormcrow, Warhawk etc) but theres some nonhumanoid IS designs that deserve attention (Archer, Penetrator etc).

No, that's not one mech. Those lasers on the arm are for the Jenner, then the lasers on the chest are the Atlas. That's the view of the hangar from the perspective of the Hunchback. When we get the entire picture, it will likely show us the in-game Hunchback cockpit.

Sorry guys the Dervish has saved my life at 6 hexes too many times for me to turn my back on her now.

However, it has also RUINED my game with a nice SRM2 ammo explosion in the arms. Who puts 50 rounds in the arms? Please fix that, its a suicide machine that no right thinking pilot would get in!

So, never having driven her in a mechwarrior game, its time to find out if I love her or hate her. DERVISH!

Dervish wins by a landslide, though any would be fine as long as it stands out from the Hunchback and Centurion. I would vote for the Hoplite, if only to see a non-humanoid medium 'mech, but the Kintaro has an interesting outline as well.

Bushwacker. The three suggested look odd (Hoplite) or nearly identical to the Commando and Centurion. You guys decide.

When you get to heavy 'mechs consider this one. http://www.sarna.net...es_(BattleMech) Looks solid and I've never seen the Hercules in a MechWarrior game.
