No I connected the dots (Kerensky, odd social behavior in the Dragoons, wide use of Star League mechs) They certainly put some hints in the preceding novels,of course the Clans were a bit more than I was expecting when they did emerge, but I knew something was odd about the 'goons long before the clan connection became clear.

Way to old?! Hardly. She's only what...50 or so in 3049. And with the way she has aged....Yea I see no problem there. :)

If all that crap had happened to me and my brother was killed by a power hungry maniac and my best friend was duped into committing ritual suicide. I would go on a One man supercharged, monkey navigated, napalm and nuclear fueled rampage. Burning all in my wake and not stopping until Takashi Kurita's head adorned the nose of my dropship.

Just Sayin......It might get my Irish up......

Actually, she's 76, though thanks to plastic surgery she doesn't really look it. Also, keep in mind the fact that even with the medical technology lost during the Succession Wars, people are a lot longer-lived in the 31st Century than they are today.

Yeah people live into their 120s on a regular basis it seems.

Natty is well preserved. Even though she got fairly old, I can't help but remember her as a beautiful woman.....

Come on everyone with me now!

Now what surprised me is that no one seems to put together that this mysterious and mysteriously well armed group came out of nowhere with names like Wolf and Kerensky and someone could not put 2 and 2 together to publically ask them if they were the decendants of the great Alexandr Kerensky.

IIRC, that was one of the wilder theories. It certainly added the Black Widow's mystique that she shared the General's surname, but a legitimate connection between the two seemed preposterous. The truth turned out to be much stranger than anyone in the Inner Sphere expected.

Blood of Kerensky trilogy is your friend!

Amazingly, I'm almost done with Lethal Heritage right now. And you are correct. The Blood of Kerensky trilogy is fantastic. I'm at the spot where Phelan pulls Khan Ulric from the ruptured bridge of the Dire Wolf. Oh, sweet irony.

As always. It was cover, opening the door for her to leave the Dragoons without raising too much suspicion. At the end of the day, Kerensky did this as she felt she could help complete the mission laid down before the Dragoons better from within the Clans, then from without. The Inner Sphere would not learn about the true nature of the Dragoons for another two years. Also, best ISN news update posted so far :P

I thought so! I was just about to say something and go digging through my Blood of Kerensky's. This was all subterfuge for the greater Clan Wolf agenda!

What would the IS know anything about "wolf" to find suspicious about it. B)

Plus Im sure Kerensky is not a completely uncommon last name. The IS is huge.

Nah. With Natasha K my current view would be she looks more like Milla Jovovitch. With the attitude at times of her roles in the Resident Evil movies.
