As many have seen, PC gamer will be having a Cover Article on MWO

The online magazine apparently comes with 2 tings that you can use in MWO, a new skin (applicable to all mechs in the game) and a cockpit item "Coconut Monkey."

These are both nice, however the Coconut monkey is the bigger pull. It deserves to be a skin for the Atlas "death 's head"

It NEEDS to be a skin.

Apparently. I guess there's a digital version, which I might buy for the two things.

Plus I'd get ANOTHER beta key (I've got founders and a regular free one from here. I don't know what I'd do with a third one, but it's just owning it that's the cool part.

The Red X skin on that Atlas is *meh* It's ok I guess. A Coconut Monkey skin for an Atlas "Deaths Head" would be so incredibly win however, that i don't know if there are words for it.

last time i bought a pc gamer it was about as thick as a pamhplet and didn't even come with a disc. I figured that they went out of business by now. pleasant surprises i guess

Wow, that's just... clownshoes. NO. Now, Coconut Monkey as a dashboard item... that is cool! I wonder... can these items be acquired by buying the physical magazine too?

Nevermind, turns out they DO still do physical magazines. I'm getting mine, ohh yeah. I've missed PC Gamer anyway, and I'm gonna be upgrading to a supercomputer as soon as I can.

Suggestion to the OP: find the repainted concept art thread and suggest this. People might be more keen on the idea if they can see it on a picture to check out how it looks. There are tutorials on how to do it and some people do it for you if they find it interesting.

I could that myself, I just want it on something I can use in the game. In cockpit boblbeheads aren't really a big draw to me

I have been a subscriber for over 10 years, I have the magazine show up every month in the mail. I can assure you they still make physical magazines.


Oh and the coconot monkey is rapesauce. I knew being a subscriber would pay off one day lol
