I don't know how they did it, but in WiC your, forum avatar was on your equipment - I liked that. I wouldn't mind being able to customise colours along the lines of the Red Baron too or having lance colour schemes.

Just my 2 cents

I think customized lance logos and color schemes would have to be a given in this kind of game if for nothing more than a sense of community.

Me personally though, I'm going to try to adapt my color schemes to the terrain for every possible advantage.

Indeed, the Knight sounds like he would be a good Jaguar, no subterfuge, simply lunging at the enemies throat...11 times out of 10 it works.

funnily enough I just registered on the Smoke Jaguar forums. I plan on eating mechs in large unchewable chunks

Funny how your Jaguars were wiped out to the last man. Most vicious of the clans, perhaps... but still ultimately annihilated.

One planet was taken, thought it was very important...it was just one. There are five clusters I can name off the top of my head that were never accounted for. Annihilated we were not. The Inner Sphere loves to say they won something they could never finish

*Edit- And on that note if you are refering to the line "And the other clans quickly snapped up the rest of their holdings...yeah that is the most "Ok I dunnno what to do with the rest of them, the Inner Sphere did not get them" line ever, we held all or a portion of Londerholm, Vinton, Kirin, Tranquil, Atreus, and Eden. With PGCs on all of those worlds plus other front line clusters refitting for a second push*

Smoke Jaguars were extremely vicious, but they forwent all tactical prowess in favor of all out attacks.

Untrue, in certain situations very skilled light stars were sent out to cripple the command structure of the Inner Sphere forces, these Headhunter stars were very successful and highly vicious. The thought of taking down officers screams forethought to me.

This along with, there use of terrain correctly, that is also tactical prowess

The Jaguars just come off as very Stalinist Russian to me. Improvison and forethought aren't really their MO,

So 5 clusters cowered, hid and licked their wounds? Like scared little cubs?

5 clusters is still, at most 375 Mechs and support personal - assuming there are no (Super)Nova Binaries/Trinaries. And that is also assuming that there were no incurred losses to any of the units aforementioned.

Hardly what one could call a Clan.

Perhaps not Satlinist, I'm thinking more Pictish. The Romans lost a legion and ended up building a wall to get away from them.

The Jaguars lost everything and ended up running and hiding to get away from... everyone.

You know the only reason the Jaguars diedwas someone at FASA went, well we need to make a bad guy for Victor to fight.

BT had no bad guys until then.
