It's a design that was commisioned during the Fedcom Civil War (the era in which the MW4 games take place).
The war started in 3062, so a prototype would have still taken 13 years if they started on the first day of the war.

Haven't read all of it, but I would love to see the Archer, Wolfhound, Battlemaster, Banshee, eventually Hatomato Chi. It was around before Clan Invasion, came out at the tail end of 3039.

thanks for the link... couldn't remember the names of the mechs but if I wanted one mech, it would be a Phoenix Hawk because it reminds me of the veritechs from Robotech

I loved to toss 3 Gauss rifles and ammo into it, 3 Gauss hitting most anything produced pleasing results.

I don't know why but I fell in love with this bad boy when playing MW2:Mercenaries (My first MW game) While it couldn't beat some clan mechs you get at the end of the game its was such a simple/solid design that it won me many a clan tech from salvage and carried me threw some tough spots.
