can anyone help? keeps crashing and cant seem to get it to work. download from mektek. any help would be greatly accepted.

how are you downloading it? with the mektek downloader? I had the same trouble too. But it does eventually work. Make sure to add exceptions to your firewall.

Have you ran it in compatibility modes? as an Administrator? What operating system are you running? Give us some details

I had the same problem, I got it to work when i downloaded the hot fix patch from there website.

the one you download is- EXE installing version .0030c Hot fix

yes 1 of the hot fixes should do, look for other threads in off topic this will be moved there anyway soon.

tried a few more times and couldnt get it to work do you know if the mektek form has any thing about this have looked and could not find any thing

also be sure to UPDATE the program via the mektek downloader.

i have aversion 51.03.01.0030. not sure what else it could be. the hot fix's they have didn't fix it. tried both by them selves and together.

I just got this to work online and it is still really fun. Its always nice to drive a clan mech! Make sure you use the Mektek downloader and make sure antivirus is diabled. All the info is on the forums. Good luck.

Are you running as admin?

Are you running Windows XP?

Vista?

Windows 7?

32 or 64 bit?

if it still won't work, uninstall it, uninstall MTX, then install MTX with admin rights and run with admin rights, then reinstall MW4.

Ive download it too from mektek, mine crashed at every mission that has allied helicopter landing, the hotfix made it work, just make sure to patch at the correct destination folder C:prog files etc.....

MW 4 vengenace, BK and Mercs are awesome games!

seriously: uninstall MW4, uninstall MTX, then reinstall everything using admin rights, and update/hotfix.

i just got the invitation to this game recently a couple of days back.

I have been downloading since last night but the download speed is just killing me.

Avg dl speed is 15 kbps.

But the thing that i want to talk about is that the patcher keeps on crashing after 1 or 2 mins.

Currently on the 1/14 patch of 1/19.

I didnt have any problems untill it reached this 14 number patch.

I dont know how to make this going now.

Please help !!

Its never worked right on mine either no matter what I do. Even found a nice backdoor virus after trying to reinstall it. Good luck.
