Oni should be safe because plot armor. That's how that works right?

As for your card, try loading an older set of drivers or maybe a total reinstall of MWO?

Yeah, perhaps not the best time for it :/ Unless most of the issues are from the new engine and simply haven't been optimised? (trying to be hopeful)

I think it is less of a optimization problem as they screwed something up when they switched engines. but what can ya do about it.

Those posts started long before founders ever came into this game. I still remember when I knew most beta pilots by name, because there were less than 2000 of us and the same people were on at the time you were usually.

Well if it's not docked yet, I shouldn't have to worry about it landing on us, unless the pilot can't read numbers. In which case I'm going to own a dropship off the insurance premiums and suffering alone :D

well I don't think you will be able to survive a dropship landing on you... also, why are you on a dropship pad anyway? couldn't you just land in front of a mech hangar?

edit: this sounds really bitchy to me... sorry about that.

If you're in a helicopter or a VTOL you don't just land in the hanger. LAMs are basically treated the same way. Coming into land at a 'Mech hanger would kick up all kinds of debris and be very dangerous to both the LAM, the grounds crew, and any of the numerous things gathered and usually stacked up outside the warehouse area, from tools, to soda can, to anything that the techs and dock crew might be using in their daily activities. It is therefore that we land out on either the runway and taxi in in Fighter mode, or that we land and then walk in and park.

That and I like the idea of making a quick get a way should the need arise. Also it sets the groundwork for the character's "good reputation" and proceeding himself mentality that he has. Just going with how he rolled up.

Looking forward to it. Gonna post sometime tomorrow, I'll also be fluffing up my character as I go. As of right now, he's a hippieish/surfer/pothead who knows how to speak just enough French to whooo the girls and plays like two or three songs on guitar. Inside the Planetlifter he's gonna have a bunch of cargonets and random things. (no nukes, no weapons, no anything like that) Hust things that suggest that he lives on the plane. He'll have a hammok set up, though I'm not sure how that'd work in space...

Does he have a hula girl in his cockpit?

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand...
I have set up a C3 channel for combat roleplays and personal intros and such. I won't be starting the actual Roleplay thread till we actually have a viable unit of 4 mechwarriors and a couple aerojocks, but I am willing to play out your introductions on a one on one basis.

Link is http://c3links.com/?2auTD10G
for the C3 site so you can get a copy.

I will send invites once people are ready... and I figure it out... lol
