Currently working on that. Difficulty lays in sorting what advanced training will transfer over to MWO. This is a point of discussion for friday's meeting.

8 new Mechwarriors in August so far. Wonder if we'll break last month's record?

Thanks so much Guido!

And yeah here's to unit growth!

Yeah, we have the whole "volun-told" thing in the fire service too. The difference being we at least get overtime or extra time off to compensate. One the things I always say about overtime...it's nice, but you have to be at work to get it.

Holding on, Guido. I read Curon's post this morning...before coffee...it woke me right up. Lots of spots to fill in C&S.

Probably won't see any of that until Community Warfare is implemented whenever it's ready for next year. Of course we can game that among ourselves in the threads on BWC boards based on what we know from what the devs release. In the meantime we stay informed, keep recruiting, and train.

All we need to do is hotload our massive amount of players into Teamspeak and start coordinating drops. By the time they implement Community Warfare (very unpolished thing to do, I might add) we should, each of us, have a decent amount of resources built up on a personal level.

Can't wait for Community Warfare.... Or launch day for that matter. :P

Been with the BWC for a bit now. I have to say I'm impressed. I have yet to see a company this organized and dedicated. And, no bs drama.
As well, there is always something going on. We don't have empty weeks pass where your left doubting the companies solidity, as you see with some outfits.
Definitely worth checking out!

Hey guys. Y'all know that we have an in-house film production company. And you know we're working on a zombie movie (whose kickstarter, incidentally, expires in about fifty hours without meeting its goal...). And you know, now, that I'm also doing a live-action Planetside 2 fan-commercial.

BUT.

Did you know that I'm also writing a script for a live-action BattleTech fan-commercial? Featuring a 'Mech pilot in a cockpit? Admittedly it's a Tesla II cockpit but it's better than nothing. It also features 'Mech pilot cadets in training. Think Full Metal Jacket meets MW4 cut scene videos.

So how about help us out and help fund this damn Kickstarter so I can get some credentials under my belt. :-P

Last thing I remember reading on contracts, they are automatically generated by the server/system, and I believe I read that they are bid upon by any Corps with the LP for that given contract, and then the lowest bidder that meets the minimum requirements (both in LP and bid price) get the contract. This is also why I posted my questions again in the ATD 12 thread, regarding the threat of bid-locking. Cause if some ***** is going to try and lock us out, I want to make sure they pay for it.

Six Drill Instructors for basic recruit training. Multiple sessions a week across several time zones. Very organized private TS server, two private MW:LL servers for trainings (since that function can't exist in the current NDA/BETA testing environment of MWO), organized, but laid back, structure, be as active as you want/can be, proactive leadership cadre and an easy application process that even the most knuckle draggin' truckie type (me) can understand and fill out.

....if I get to play Hartmann.

Really, I couldn't hold a candle to the adlib talent that Ermey put in to that part. That'd have to go to Firefly or Thornn.

I'd probably be more like Cowboy or Animal.

Buddy, you're in my area. You'd better be looking at my casting call thread. And yes, you will be called upon. I almost wanted to draft you and your airsoft arsenal for Z-Com.

Especially when this random asian has guns that look real and menacing!

Putting on my BDUs, plate carrier and carrying my two gun bags is the best damn Sunday morning ritual a male college student can have. Walking across campus with that is such a f.uckin' blast.

Not to one-up you but try carrying a SAW without a gunbag across a parking lot where six police cruisers are parked because the complex has a lot of cops living there, and getting a friendly visit from one of them later that day. :P
