Why I have stayed with BWC:

Sometimes I can't believe that it's been 2 1/2 years already since I joined BWC. Now, sometimes I manage to take a break from gaming for a time, but I have always come back to BWC. The atmosphere, the leadership, the community, it's a special thing that I have never managed to find anywhere else on the internet, and I don't think I ever would.

Why have I stayed with BWC... Well, that's easy, actually. Every day I've interacted with the players and run in games or matches with people that just are fun to play with and are happy to teach as well as grow themselves validates my decision to stay. Every day I have attended a forum to discuss how to play better and grown as a player validates my decision to stay. Every day I have interacted with the moral, devoted leadership that actually cares about the company and the community at large (and I mean RL society) validates my decision to stay (as well as volunteer to be a part of it--if only in a small way). It really has been a pleasure to be a part of the Company, and staying with them? Yah. No brainer.

Why I have stayed with BWC

I am still relatively new with the outfit but I have stayed so far because I enjoy the camaraderie and i have slowly started to make friends. These are great people and I made a good choice joining.

Why I have stayed with BWC:

BWC is more than an average community. It's a group of gamers that help each other in game and IRL. Their time and dedication to others in MWO as well as the forums and other games is tremendous and one of the main reasons I have started contributing to help others, which becomes a big cycle of us helping each other. There are plenty of leadership positions to hold as well as non-billeted positions if you're just interested in game play. There are also many posts and topics over variants and builds, which help tremendously for anyone that is just starting off with the game or is a veteran.

Why I have stayed with BWC

I have stayed because BWC is fun, friendly, professional, creative, and the operations are challenging. I have only been in for a few months but I don’t see me going to any other company or group. They are a good solid group of people and I am happy that I am apart of it. :(

Why I have stayed in BWC:

The power of military style discipline and training, applied to online video games, can yield incredible results that allow a smaller group of players to overcome a larger enemy. We do this day in and day out, bringing the fight all over PS2, and most of our enemies agree, we punch above our weight class. There's nothing quite like it, and I have been a part of good outfits and squads before - but nothing they do compares to what you find in BWC.

I also have stayed because of the friendship, community and teamwork that are part of our organizational culture. It's who we are, and who I want to be a part of. I could see myself being a part of this team for a long time to come.

I’ve stayed with BWC because they kidnapped my cat and threatened to put him in a blender if I didn’t stay.
I kid…
On as serious note I’ve stayed because of the high caliber of players we attract and we hold ourselves to a standard.

There are so many things I could say about why I stayed with BWC, but I think the best way to sum them all up would be to say "the people".

Pretty much everyone - from the rank and file guys I have a blast playing with to the C&S volunteers that get everything done behind the scenes - has been awesome to interact with. Of course disagreements happen and we don't always see eye-to-eye on everything, but we still have an underpinning of mutual respect that informs everything we do. It really gives the entire Company a sense of stability and cohesion, even between those of us who don't play the same games at all.

BWC's motto is "One Team, One Fight", and you can genuinely see it reflected in the members we have.

How I've improved at my game after joining BWC.

BWC taught me what team work can really accomplish. The motto is "One Team, One Fight are not just words. When you play a part of a precision strike team and follow the mission thing start to come together, and winning is inevitable. I have improved my game tremendously under the guldens of BWC command. I found a brand new interest in playing games due to the wining factor.

How I've improved at my game after joining BWC.

Playing MWO with BWC is more than just playing with 4 or 8 people and shooting people on the opposite team, it is all about the team.
My game has improved not by sheer habit of playing the game over and over and over, but actual training to show you things that you might not have cared about or knew about. Teaching others and being taught new things all the time.
This improves your game experience!

How I’ve improved at my game after joining BWC.

For the most part, I enjoy single-player gaming experiences. So when I started kicking around with online games, I had a bunch of bad habits. If you whack your NPC squadmate, no harm, no foul. If you team kill another player, and actual person, there’s typically some fallout. Also? Icing your team mates is not a great victory-tactic.

So while I have plenty of team experience, as a leader and otherwise, it was a bit of a transition for me to apply those skills to the gaming environment. It’s been fun relearning those old ways of thinking and, in turn, re-teaching those lessons to myself and others. Since joining BWC I can say that I’ve learned how to transition from one roll to another. Most days I like to run around and harass and distract whoever my team is facing, but I’ve also learned how to coordinate attacks, and relay information back to my team.

If you’re someone who enjoys improving, and likes doing so through peer-driven advice and instruction, give BWC a look.

How I've improved that my game after joining BWC.

Will not say I've become somewhat super good to play yet, is still among the first to fall in battle. But I've got a very good introduction to teamwork, have goals to work toward, which also makes the game more meaningful and fun.
The slogan is One Team, One Fight, that's how it is in BWC.

The training I’ve received, the teamwork and practice I’ve taken part in, and the communication with my fellow BWC members have made a dramatic improvement to my game. But that’s not the most important thing to me. The important thing has been the friends I’ve made! Being able to run with the friends I’ve made in BWC has made the games much more enjoyable. I’m not one who is stuck on numbers crunching when it comes to kill/death ratio stats and the like… if I get my butt kicked and had a good time doing it, then it was well worth it to me. However, the majority of the games I play now with my BWC friends see more wins than losses… Join us and be part of the winning team!

How I've improved at my game after joining BWC.

Through training sessions and practice I have improved significantly in each of the following areas:

Situational awareness
Communicating relevant information
Damage mitigation
Tactics
‘Mech load-outs
And last, but certainly not least, the PATIENCE to wait for the right moment to strike.

Learning efficient game coms, better strategic and tactical understanding of the games and the opportunity for plenty of practice with team mates has improved my skill base enormously.

When I first arrived at the BWC, I was a pretty decent gamer all around after spending years since my childhood just simply gaming in general. I would participate in MMO's before and have participated in other guilds over the years, however, none have come close to the level of organization and effort that the BWC has.

The trainings that the BWC offered not only taught me new skills that I was not aware of, but they also taught me how to become a better team player.

Due to their trainings, I'm more effective at what I do. I've taken the knowledge that I have, as well, and I have provided that back to the BWC community. An exchange of ideas and concepts is what has really enriched my gaming and taken it to the next level.

How I've improved at my game after joining BWC:
The trainings in working as a group are a huge help. Those are put into effect during operations. I've been in groups before, but never one that had so much information on how to work together instead of being a bunch of talented individuals. Team trumps individual.

How I've improved at my game after joining BWC.

When I started playing with BWC, I knew the general tactics to MWO and the roles that I could play. I was a mediocre spotter and much better as a sniper, but I had no idea how to effectively brawl or be a LRM boat. However, after two weeks in BWC, I immensely improved in my brawling, which gave me the ability to learn how to build variants better and gave me the option to fill another roll when we were dropping. I am still learning today and improving day by day, which is much better than lone wolfing or joining a team that isn't interested in helping teammate's performance.

How I’ve improved in my game after joining BWC:
I can’t talk about that a lot because Star Citizen, the game for which I joined, isn’t out yet. But I started to play planetside 2 after I joined and I can say, I wouldn’t have learned as much if I haven’t been in BWC.
If you start playing the game it can be very very depressive because the weapons you have make a huge difference in how many kills you land.
But I think I’ve got better faster than most of the other players, because when you play in a group with only high battleranks you gain a lot of experience. I hope to archieve the same in our Star Citizen Regiment
