Behaviour of AC/20 leads me to believe that large Mechs that use the weapon as their main armament are going to be very vulnerable to fast harassers boating around them as it's quite difficult to lead such a slow-firing weapon, while rotating your Mech, while the other Mech is strafing sideways at top speed. AC/20s should be able to slaughter anything that gets within close range as it's a *close range weapon* and its weakness should be *long range weapons*.

I found the game too fast paced, this is not a FPS. I like to manage heat, making each shoot count. Demolishing takes time.

Although i would generally agree with you , there are a few things to consider...
1) It's a Pre-Alpha. Weapon recycle times/Damage/etc have probably yet to be balanced.
2) Most of the clips are relatively short and do not show the whole duration of a fight
3) Almost all of the fight were short ranged 150m or less "brawls" where one 'mech was simply charging another
4) Although it appears it is registering heat build up, I do not believe any of the effects of overheating are implemented. Many times the 'mechs are simply firing as fast as they can, stay very high on heat (Several times at 100%) It's doubtful we will be able to do the same post launch.

I know its Pre-Alpha but seemed like a ton of forward face planting death with the one exception being the Hunchback that took a shot to the groin and flopped backwards <-- haha Cool
