Sounds like a really good reason to take as many small lasers as possible. Suddenly they're sniper weapons. You'd figure by double max range the damage should be down to zero. I wonder what buff ammo weapons are going to get to compensate for this? Its not nearly as easy to take advantage of extended range on ammo based weapons 'cause... you know ammo.

Magically respawning ammo perhaps? ;)

Or you can just eject and respawn in the very same spot with a fully loaded up Mech again. Who cares about any realism anyway any more? :ph34r:
