the artwork I linked is the lineart used in TRO 3025, which unfortunately is also the artwork for the robotech VF-1A "armored" varient from the macross /mospeda/ robotech cartoon, due to legal issues harmony gold who can be pretty virulant about their IP's actually owns that artwork in the US.

the thing is there is the "reseen crusader"
Posted Imagewhich also has 2 hands.

the one that was linked by the OP (black and white) was the crusader from TRO3050

now one thing I have noticed is that harmony gold HAS attacked the battlech IP for "copyright infringement" when the art was CLEARLY in no way shape or form an infringement on their "artwork" so yes I would like to see some kind of new art possibly "inbetween the unseen (macross) versions and the new reseen, or other versions that could capture the "feel" of the origionals but is different enough to avoid legal issues, and in some cases a new "intermediate" state

example look at the old marauder image, the newer marauder inspired mechs like the madcat, and the "reseen" marauder now try to make something that ties all those togather

It utilizes the same technology that explains how 'Mechs can carry more than one salvo's worth of missiles without having internals comprised entirely of... well, missiles.

Basically magic.

Actually, they use a 3d Printer to print the next missile salvo on the spot. Future tech, I tell ya!
