Sooo, with dev blog 5 they are showing how to drive the mech with Mouse and Keyboard and my uncle said, something about how they might not have Joystick support for this game, meaning wed have to drive with mosue and Keyboard...are they really not going to let us use Joysticks in this game!?

Ahh, he didnt say for sure, he said they might not....JUst got me wondering...Thanks for clearing that one up...I would dread driving wiht Mouse/Keyboard

Using a joystick with Mechwarrior games is kind of...iconic. And they are trying to stay as close to the Mechwarrior/Battletech feel as possible. And doing a damn fine job of it too.

Other than flight sims ...Mechwarrior I and X-wing were practically the reason Flightsticks took off. I can't imagine being cut out now.

Joystick is a must for mech online. A must I say.....it's part of piloting a battlemech.

In the FAQ:

A. We have partnered with some of the industry’s biggest hardware manufacturers and will be doing our best to support all types of joysticks and flight systems.


Case Closed.

Also, if that isn't enough, there's a image floating around somewhere in the forums in which you can clearly make out Paul's flight control system, can't recall what it was, but upwards of 200$. If they have that, and K/M they'll probably have other joystick support too.
