I figured I'd post this here where the visibility is better, but I was curious to do a couple write ups on all the Great Houses for noobs to read and consider, and I'm collecting all the Houses' TS3 channels and such right now so throughout the next couple weeks I can pop in and play with people while I do my write ups. Is there any way I could get the information for the channel without registering on the site, or is that taboo to ask?

Hi Guys, big Marik fan here. I haven't played much since closed beta, but getting back in to the game and decided its time to join the House, just one question. Are there many active Aussies? ill probably sign up anyway

Also, yes, I realize your "Action Man" name isn't the same as "The Action Man" from Team Venture so you might not know Henchman 24's character from the Venture Brothers, but I just had to.

But yeah, there are several active aussies in our bunch, as well as people from around the globe on at all hours. Many of our US players play during AUS prime time as well.

Hey there,

joined MWO/House Marik a fortnight back and I'm looking for if someone could suggest a planet/system with Czech settlers. I looked up some info on the Wiki that Marik(-Stewart) Commonwealth, or rather the whole FWL, has strong central/east Europe roots but couldn't find any Czech/Slovak planet in particular.

Any suggestions?

Considering the multi-ethnic background of almost all FWL planets, which is echoed in the lore, it is difficult to point out a particular system and label it Czech/Slovak or even "mainly czech". It doesn´t help that the sourcebooks mostly condense the descriptions to "eastern european", which includes much more terran cultures.

But when in doubt I would point to the old core systems of the Marik Commonwealth. Especially New Olympia, Marik (the planet), Keystone, Abadan, Angel II and Augustine. There are several other systems whose names evoke the association, at least to non-native speakers, spread all over the League.

Ironically I think the consolidated nature of the Marik community might be hurting our recruitment. Our MWOMercs forum sees less activity than the rest because we use our forum and TS3 for our chatter!
