Fri. Sept 27, 3049 is a little early for "Pirate" action on Here. I guess the 8th Arcturan Guards are investigating pirate activity drops on one of the Periphery worlds.

Would be nice if we could get Elias Crichell's Summonor!

Theres clearly something happening coreward, and its clearly the work of the Lyrans. Either one of their sad attempts to 'protect' worlds that are rightfully part of the Combine, or yet more attempts at 'piracy'. I've long suspected that Oberon and Ryan are merely Steiner henchmen, if not full-blown Lyran operatives. If the 8th AG thinks its 'investigation' is going to fool even the most naive citizen of the Inner Sphere, they are sadly mistaken. We've trained against far more convoluted and complex plots, we share a border with the Feds, and no other nation of the Inner Sphere is more slipery and decietful. Perhapse you should ask a few of Davion's 'diplomats' in Tharkad whether this will work or not.

Pirates, pirates, pirates. I guess that's all we can talk about in a time of peace, eh? That or new developments in weapons so the next time Hanse decides to push the Lyran half of the Commonwealth into a war we'll have new and exciting ways to kill each other. The FRR may buffer most of the Lyran/Combine border, but we in Skye still have Snakes at the gates, and we're slow to forget attacks within the Federation. Maybe we'll have to fight the Mariks next time. Hopefully little Prince Victor being raised here in the Lyran side will make him less blood-thirsty than his father.

Um, in any case, not sure why a drop in pirate activity is something to go check out. Around here, we consider that a good thing and have a drink in honor of one less group of people trying to kill us.

Pirate activity is down because we in the FRR got bored and decided to go stomp some pirates. You're welcome. :)

Wish my unit was out there. We're just jumping from system to system garrisoning here and there.

Something about this "investigation" stinks. With the way it's being worded here, it's as if they WANT pirate activity to continue.

SwordofLight might be on to something. Lyran Free Traders Association has been trading with the Oberon Confederation, after all, before they lost that jumpship.
