So I'm noticing there's a fair amount of people here who are new to BattleTech/MechWarrior. Hell, I myself only started reading up on BT lore about a year ago.

So I think I'll make this thread for anyone new to the setting who have questions they can't (or are too lazy to) find on Sarna.net, and other users can answer them.
