I have no idea if this has been mentioned or talked about anywhere but I was wondering what effects severe weather would do to mechs. Such as do mechs have any kind of shielding for lightning strikes or not. I would say not because ppcs damage them and thats essentially lightning. I would also imagine that a decent sized piece of hail would do some damage to armor not a huge amount. But it would be interesting to see if that would be taken into account when and if weather is added (not at launch but later of course). There is alot of weather around that could damage/hamper mechs including poor visibility from fog, sand/dust storms just normal rain if its heavy enough.
