Classically, the levels of lasers have been depicted as different colors - blue for large, green for medium, red for small. It helps the people being shot at know what they're being shot at with, and how afraid to be of it.

Now, that's primarily because the 'mechs in old games didn't visually change configuration when they had a different weapon loadout, but it still helps with weapon identification.

First I though it's kind of faction poll, lol... Blue - Lyran, Purple - FWL, Red - DC, Orange - FedSun, Green - CC... But then I've realized I have no idea what's yellow.

So. There is a strange thing about lasers. In MW3 larges were red, while smalls - blue. In MW4 and MWLL larges are blue and smalls are red. So I believe, larges should be red. MW3 ftw!

... but it should be changeable with upgrades from the shop. The colors should not be interchangeable between groups though. Small will have options, Medium different ones and Large ones also different just to make clear for people what they are beeing shot with.

Yes... this is very good physics logic. Blue for Large and Purple for ER Large
