Am 26. Started with Mechwarrior on Super Nintendo. Played tons of Multiplayer BattleTech Solaris (Blackjack ftw) on the gamestorm network in late 90s with the Blackdog guild.. played mech 2, mercs, mech 3, and finally MW4 and ran the Marik Guards for quite awhile. Part of several leagues. Miss this genre something fierce.

been playing since I was 11, 28 now thats the tabletop, but I've played MW, MW 2, MW 2 GB, MW 2 Mercs, MW 3, MW3 pirates moon MW 4 etc. even played rise of pheonix hawk or something old commodore/dos game where you played a MW of prestige it was very fun.

Old enough to remember a time when you could only play battletech on a table top. My Atlas had a killer paintjob that I was very proud of. I also am old enough that when MW4 came out I got yelled at at and told I suck because I always set up battle with the heat on. I kept telling people Heat was put into the game for a reason. Don't want to shutdown NP just control your shots.

Started playing the TT game in 1986 and even played the original MechWarrior RPG add-on book then. Yeah, Sho-sa Martel is a VERY old character. But I've given him a bit of a reboot and a retooling, seems to be the hip thing with the kids these days.

wow im the only kid under 15 that plays this. i guess my friends were right when they said that no one else are age is in to older games..... i love classics

37 here, and yes I have played them all. Even got into the Tournament side on the Zone during Mech 3. That was pretty fun.

Welcome to the world, Des. Both my sons will be playing and they are 14 and 12 so you probably wont the youngest.

For anyone who's rolling their eyes about younger players, my sons are good sports. They hate cheats, wont freak out, and they take orders. They are online game vets already.

The sad thing is, I'm only 12, and I know more about mechwarrior than alot of 20+ year olds. Mostly because I grew up with watching my dad play MW3 and then starting out myself on MW4 when I was about 5 or so.

so im 27 and just wanted to know if there are any players that played earthseige before mechwarrior but iv played every mech game and iv been like a crackhead with no crack since the crome hounds servers went down. please i need to blow sh#t up soon.........

You're underestimating the power of a few months spent on this forum.

Also, playing just MW 4 won't get you anywhere in the lore, nor game.
Dad helped you in that matter, but I can bid anything on teh fact they would beat you.

I was surprised by the age distribution, but I guess it makes sence given that the last true mechwarrior game was 10 years ago. 26 myself and been a fan since I used to watch the cartoon on Sunday mornings. My brother and I got into MW2 shortly thereafter and played every PC and Xbox title released since. Couldn't get our hand on the board game until '01 but some 11 years later it's my preferred way to play, though don't have to much time anymore.
