39, closer to 40 every day. Bought my first Battletech box set in 1989 or so (if memory serves) along with the third issue of Battletechnology magazine. It was the images on the front of the box and the cover of the magazine which sealed the deal for me and made me go for that game rather than any other in my local game/comicbook store. The classic image of the Warhammer on the front of the box and that beautiful painting of a Marauder attacking a Thunderbolt on the magazine. Never regretted my choice since then.

Have to say I really do miss Battletechnology. The quality of those early issues were impressive and helped bring the Battletech universe to life for me more than almost anything else.

I'm a recent convert to the game, myself and my brother found MekTek about a year ago, and have not stopped playing MW4 since. I suffer from a lack of stores that sell the merchandise, so I don't have any of the tabletop games, any books or anything. No way of buying them either.

I feel deprived haha.

Okay, technically there's three possible ages for DoomsdayArk if that post is truthful:

"16 square rooted" could mean either "the square root of 16" or "a number whose square root is 16".

In the latter case that has one result: 256.

BUT, in the former case, there are TWO possible answers for this: 4 or -4.



And SinTech? I did try out Earthsiege (the second game, iirc), but it was after playing Dynamix's MechWarrior, Westwood Associates' BattleTech: the Crescent Hawks' Inception, AND been playing the boardgame for quite a while already...

Played in MW4 as cD_Triforce of clan dragon/steel wasp. I am 43 and busting with so much excitement for this game. I am going to build a new PC just for this game.
