28 here, I think I started playing MW2:Mercs when I was 14, and been with the same core group of guys for the last decade or so and almost that many on-line games.

31 years of age, life has yet to be properly fun.
I knew about mechwarrior when I was younger, but didn't get into it until mech2 came out. And it was AWESOME. Then, by chance I went to a gaming club and got to play the table top game. Which was also awesome.
Haven't played tabletop in years, though I want to. No one around here plays it.

Sigh.

Just have to get my fix with MWO.

I am 17 currently, first mechwarrior games was...... Does Mech Assault count? The MW 1 (emulated) then MW4. MW3 does not work on this machine sadly

Too bad a number of the older games are tough to get working on Windows 7. I wanna play MW2: Mercs, but just can't (yet). Feels bad, man.

Im 29 and have loved Battletech since the 90's. Still think Mechwarrior 2 merc is the best of lot game wise.

For those looking at the shear thrill of blowing things up - the bulk of the pilots - it's going to be the younger generations of player...and rightfully so. For the continued success of this game, and our communities that were created back in the 90's...it needs to be.

Get the DOS version of the game and run it using DOSBOX. You may have to play with it a bit, but it'll run (if your processor is up to it).

1st Experience was in Mechwarrior 2, then Mechwarrior 2 Mercenaries, then on and on with every other game (MW3,MW4, MC1, MC2, MA, MA2, MA:PW). Played the table top Battletech (still have'm) never got into Dark Age, refuse to accept 3081+ lol
