Only Marik can be so proud of changing a LL into an ERLL.

A jumping 70 ton mech with heavy short range firepower and Endosteel structure? Why must ISN taunt us so?

Agree with Adridos, they could have swapped out the 25 regular heat sinks for fewer double heat sinks and at least replace the medium lasers with medium pulse. Do like how the original designers chose Endosteel over FerroFibrous, though.

Guillotine
70 Tons
1 ER Large Laser
4 Med Lasers
1 SRM 6 (CASE protected ammo)
4 jump jets
280 standard engine (64 kph top speed)
25 standard HS
12 tons standard armor

Now that's a good candidate for the next heavy.

It helps the fact that it has jumping capability and the unique visual.

EDIT: oh, well. We actually already have a jumping heavy...

I luv the idea of taunting experienced mech jockies with mech's that are almost but not quite the bomb, while giving the newer people the enjoyment of squeezing the most out of what they have. That's a huge part of the battletech experience. The right tool's in the right hands on the right team!

Although having said that it's hard to beat a 75t 375 xl with a 5/8/5 mov and a bit o ES I.S.

here's a free hint to all. (unless the MWO game designers change things drastically!)
Endo steel over Ferrofibre every time(especially inner shere), unless you can have both i.e light mech for more free criticals.

Oh thats a nice one for sure ! Even if there are no hero storys the Guillotine is good addition for the position of a heavy brawler.Jumpjets can do the trick when a light pesters you from behind or to get in and out of
of a unclear situation. Decend Firepower, armor and speed. Would totaly order one.

I would give it double heat sinks and swap that ER Large Laser for an ER PPC.

The jumping 70 was always going to be between the Guillotine and the Grasshopper. The Guillotine makes much more sense since the missile launcher is centre torso mounted, allowing the placement of an SRM6 or LRM10 against the head limit of an SRM4 or LRM5.

This makes me wonder if we'll see a head mouned AMS.

That said, I've loved the Gullotine from the moment TRO:2750 came out. It just looks like it has purpose (looking fondly at the mini on my desk).

Just remember, there is that occasional glitch in arming missiles 5 & 6 in the missile system. And when you experience a problem raising the arm above the shoulder, lower it and try again, do not try to force it or you'll snap the power transfer cables.

Yeah, about like that AC jam I kept getting in the Sentinel I bought. No wonder the dracs sold it to me cheap. The torso is sooooo dented from smacking the ammo feed.

Why not combine the ER PPC with quartet of Medium Pulse? Would still leave enough space for 19 double HS's which would still allow it to alpha with little to no heat felt (according to board rules anyway)

The only visible improvement from the Star League era may be the ER laser but, from the 2700's until now, all that could be produced was the GLT-4L variant. That meant no endo steel and no case.

The FWL brought sexy back.

Too much glitches in this type for me - wrong installation of power cable to LL, repair problems with two ML in other hand, and stubborn SRM-6 launcher.

But its still development and maybe we'll see something new from IrTech.
