Its sadly irrelevant since the implementation of hand to hand mech combat isn't realy planed jet.
Edit: And I have to say I share the great Grayson Death Charlyles opinion on Hatches, Axes Swords and Clubs on Mechs. They are Weapons of desperation. But not weapons of 31st century Mech combat.
Remove the hilarious axe and mount some Lasers and Heatsinks. Or Armor and Heatsinks.

The paint-over could've used some FX for the lasers ( a little green glow at the lenses would've been pretty cool, kinda like the MWO concept art here in the media section, and some orange glow at the AC barrel. ) The cockpit could've used another color too, but that's all just my nitpicking Excellent work. you all.

And when the mech with all the ridiculous lasers shuts down in front of you, planting that ridiculous axe right in his cockpit will show why they still have a place in the 31st Century.
Since this page is forum is not limited to JUST MW:O, I think you need to expand your mind a skosh, brah, especially since the Devs have stated that if they can figure out how, H2H WILL be implemented. We already have impact damage, so keep denying that it's coming. Right up til a Highlander buries you under 90 tons of awesome.
BTW, Sneaky, tis real good work, though I must echo the general opinion on the head. The original looked near perfect. Not 100% on the hands either, but then I don't like the hand Alex uses for the Centurion, either. Still and all I am SOOOOOOO gonna rip this off, mod it and draw it. Just not boffo computer style. I like to use mah hands and them there pens and pencils still, ya know?
Can't wait to see what you brew up next.

I concur. They also said, machine guns will be obsolete in dog fights during Vietnam war. More often than not, pilots find themselves in a furball at knife fighting distances.
My reasoning behind the head and hands are more because of function rather than form to be honest. But I guess I could always do some modifications...
Go ahead and Mod it. MOAR INNOVATION!
Any chance for this paint job from Team Banzai?

It would sink into the ground if it had feet that small, and it needs to have some purchase on the ground to swing that big hatchet around.
