Firestorm sucks in comparison to Tesla 3.0 or 4.0, it took out heat management which made it more 'PC' and less geared towards the hard core player. Though my call sign is a bot in Firestorm...

I like all the Pod versions that I've been able to play. Firestorm has heat management, just not as complicated of a system as you were used to from the older versions. It's still a great game and it's far from new. I love Red Planet, I love Tesla 3.x and 4.x, but I prefer Firestorm for a little more fast paced action, 4.x got a little bogged down IMHO with fighting the mech instead of your enemy. But again, I had fun playing that as well.
