Ok, here's my lame rewording/bastardization of the song "Re: Your Brains" by Jonathon Coulton. If you don't know the song, this won't mean anything, so disregard, but otherwise, enjoy, or cringe, whatever the case may be:




Re: Your Base


Heya Tom, it's Bob, from the base on the other side.
Good to see you buddy, how've you been?
Things have been O.K. for me especially that I'm in a Catapult now.
I really wish you'd let us win.
I think I speak for all of us when I say I understand
Why you folks might hesitate to submit to our demand.
But here's an FYI: you're all gonna die overheating.

All we wanna do is take your base.
We're not unreasonable, I mean, no one's gonna take your fries
All we wanna do is take your base.
We're low on ammo here, maybe we should compromise:
If you shut down all your mechs
We'll all come inside and take your base.

I don't want to nitpick, Tom, but is this really your battle plan?
Spend the whole mission backed up against the wall?
Maybe that's OK for now but eventually you'll be out of ammo and AMS,
Then you'll have to make the call.
I'm not surprised to see you haven't thought it through enough.
You never had the head for all that tactical coordination stuff.
But Tom, that's what I do, and I plan on coring you, slowly.
