Thank you for bringing back Mechwarrior i hope it is a throw back to what i would say the is the best and most iconic version ever Which was Mechwarrior 2 and it's Expanstions

Man that brings back sooooooo many memories.. I played the original non 3dfx version, but it was the 3dfx version that really drew me into the game/universe.

Not to mention some of the best music ever.

@Terminator my first Version was ATI 3D rage which looked even better still all good things and all that haha ive got the full album of Mechwarrior 2 Music was just so amazing playing it even now when i play Mech2 on my laptop and the music starts it gets me going and with this game it looks like there gonna smash all expectations i cannot wait

@aegis i know 3DFX is old now but still amazing when you look back at the old mechwarrior games

Oo yes still got my Mechwarrior stuff and a copy of Orginal Ghost Bear and Mercenaries best of the series i consider so amazed there bringing back Mechwarrior honestly can't wait cause nothing can beat Mech's not Tanks or Cars or Jets

It would be AMAZING if mercs had a way to BE merc and get bought by the other side in the middle of the fight. One of my most favorite points in one of the mercs games was the mission where you are offered more money by the guys who youre fighting then the guys that hired you and you can switch sides.

i highly doubt that, i can´t even get mw3 to run...dunno if mw2 would be runable with DosBox?

Hard system to implement however who knows. If a player is Lone Wolf, would it be hard for them to be hired through a trading window?!

A player could give them a contract to take out another player, that would be fun.

I would very much like the ability to hire NPC Mercs, 2-3 would be cool. Use them for distractions and cannon fodder etc. Yes I would be very happy if the game has or will eventually get a true Merc angle on it.
