HUD element movement

Simple idea, there's radar, mech status, enemy mech status, weapon list with ammo/recycle time, heat, coolant and jumpjet "levels", and maybe something I forget. And my idea is to be able to move them freely on our screen, and that's it.
tl;dr Do you want to be able to move HUD elements freely.

Yes. Actually, I was thinking about this just the other day.
A Battlemech, being the "pinnacle of 31st century warfare", should be a highly customizable machine in terms of information accessibility.
+1 for customizable HUD layout.

Well in theory, the helmet the mech pilot wears should be advanced enough to be customizable, however it is better to assume that the military would have paid some scientist to figure out the best configuration and then locked the system down.
So, realistically, options like that are a no go. Gameplay wise, it would be nice, but not entirely necessary. So either way suits me.

The best configuration for one Mechwarrior may not be the best configuration for another. Just saying...

but what i would agree to would be, that you can switch which information is displayed on which "screen", f.e. let the damage indicator display the radar, and let the radar display target-info... i hope you get what i mean

hmm...maybe custom cockpits could be available, so you could choose from different "cockpit varients"... but id doubt that will happen too soon
you know guys, if a f16 pilot gets to fly a boing 747, he cant just simply throw all instruments around to match the f16 setup he is familiar with... Normally i´m a friend of custom UI´s (in RPG´s and FPS as well) , but in this case, i was very excited about the fact that there is no UI, but all instruments...I see MWO not as a shooter or something, i see it as a simulator
