Hey people

I want to talk about Nexus 2, sequel to Nexus 1 =)

Nexus was an amazing tactical simulation space game, you take controle of a dozen of ships you can customize and control the way you want to accomplish missions !

When it was release (2006) it as extremy nice graphics, despite the "space opera" being unpopular the dev really want to make this game happened as the fans do

So here's a techdemo from 2007 who is showing what Nexus 2 should be if they can make it

Nexus is a very good game, going very deep in tactical configurations but still full of fun and accessible to all. But the end of the game seems unfinished, the new ship is unbalanced, some sort of magic gun, so far less need of tacticals stuff when you have it. This confirm with the new options where you have extra managments tools out of battles, to manage creews and ships ... lots of works done for nothing as in fact you just need the special ship and nothing more, so a big feeling that the dev team have added all that but the main storyboard dont use it.

Sad that Nexus 2 seems dead project or in dev hands for life like elite 5.

Bump. I think this is definitely something worth supporting.

seems they will try again later, and that nexus2 is no dead. But they have to move quick, or wait more ... as Elite IV is starting to collect money on the same system... not sure people will give money to the 2 projects.
