So, i was watching the GDC 2012 preview, and i kinda liked the music....and that got me wondering. Is there a chance that maybe, either at launch or a future update, that you could implement an in-cockpit music player, where you could choose a target path to your music, and then you could play it in your cockpit, but it would be at a low volume so you can still hear your teamates. i think this would be a really interesting feature....just my 0.02 C-Bills though...

I agree, because then everyone could stop arguing what music should be in the game.

I also agree. This would be a great feature, listening to our own favorite songs while beating the crap outta each other is awesome!

Also agree, you could even hear the old Mech-scores. Definetly one good cashshop-item.

Why this when you can just as easily play with a third-party music player?
I think it'd be a cool addition, but kind of unnecessary.

As others have said whilst it is a fun/cool idea, actually having the developers spend time creating such a thing would be a massive and unnecessary waste of time.
I would rather they spend such time adding more mechs, fixing any potential bugs or other critical features.
