I think it's safe to say that MW3 not only had the best opening, but also had the best between mission briefings. You know you made those great when the novelization basically makes the mission briefings guy into a secondary lead character. Arguments can be made for gameplay, but as far as an immersive feel, 3 all the way.

Mechwarrior 2 Mercenaries intro
"Look at the bright side kid, you get to keep all the money"

The mechwarrior 5 opening vid that was made before the project was scrapped was pretty damn good.

Mechwarrior2: Merchs and MW3 intros are both so good I can't decide.

I think 4 is the best due to the fact that its the closest we will ever get to a MW movie...makes me think of the possibilities

well, actually preferred MW4, even though the old chopper helmets and lack of such important things as personal cooling were a bother (ok, and even i am a better scat pilot). at least they tried to make something that actually hinted at cinematic, with actual "actors" (ok, that is stretching it a bit, probably office staff getting their "Warhol" minutes) and used the models they had already developed for the game. None of the others struck me as more than what you could do with basic 2d animation software.

I'd agree. I actually felt bad for the Vulture pilot, although going up against infighters in a long-range setup....not the best choice. I found myself asking, "What would I have done differently?"

It's all about MW3 in most categories, intro being one of them.
If they could get LRMs in MWO to look like they do in the MW3 intro I would scream.
