Well reading the PC gamer magazine made Mechwarrior online a contender for the next set of online games to play for the next couple of years. We all know that we really only have 24 hours everyday to play games and live out our lives making it impossible to play every MMO game efficiently (unless you were the god of video games). So what games are you playing now? can you keep playing your old games or will you be forced to give up an old legacy and start on new territory?

MMO Games I am playing now are Aion: tower of eternity and battlefield 3. i know that list is not impressive compared to some of you, but I am in college and real life counts towards the MMO games we play.

What i want to hear is yes or no, will you be able to keep up your old games when you dedicate yourself to Mechwarrior?

What games are you playing now?

what Games do you think you might have to drop for this experience?

this is all food for thought... what do you guys think?

I doubt I'll be giving anything up, I don't play many MMOs to start with and most of them only a few times a month.

Even if I need to give up every other game to play this, assuming I could play it all the time, I couldn't care less.

I closed my WoW account, not the first time, and I have postponed getting the new XCOM until I have time to play; which I think will be some time well after the game opens to the public.

D3, SWTOR.

But it does not make much difference. I have been waiting for this for a long time, especially since I lost MW4 and its expansions. At the moment, this is the game for me.

Im not giving up any games for MWO, its filling a niche that was previously occupied by WoT. It will certainly share time with Planetside2 as they battle it out to be my main game...likely for the next couple of years. A surprise contender for MWO's place in my portfolio is Hawken, I really didnt think it would appeal to me, but my interest is growing...Im hoping to get into its beta sooner than later. At this time, the slot is MWO's lose.

At this time, any well made persistent FPS and/or Sim type, team/squad based faction war game has the advantage. If MWO's communiy warfare doesnt provide some easy access, immersive, dynamically fluid theater of war, I can expect to be gone in 6 months.

I am giving up Starcraft 2. I was playing a lot of ladder on it. Now I mainly watch tournaments and play MWO

Fortunatly, i've hit that point were i've played all the games i have (D3, MW, BF, and a few others) and am ready for this! Though i have to admit, XCOM looks enticing, and i'll likely poke at it between weekly patches.

I'm not giving up any current games. Rather I'm putting off LOTRO:Rohan, WoW:Panda Power, GW2, and SWTOR. And sleep.

None, this game isn't good enough to warrant dropping a game for.
