First, if this isn't something that the devs/mods/admins want to publicly talk about, feel free to delete this thread, but I'd highly appreciate it if someone could PM me a response if it is deleted. (I feel this may be the case because a Google and website search turned up nothing that this promotion even existed.)

On to my question. Is there a way to associate the GDC 2012 promotion to an existing account? Or is it available only to new accounts? (The latter would be such a bummer; I'd hate to have to give up my Pilot Name just to take advantage of the promotion.)

I think he was refering to Russ's comment about signing up for open BETA by registering at the MW:O website "now".

The launch we are expecting sometime this summer is the open BETA so if you are signed up (which you are obviously) then you are "in" the Open Beta.

Neg, this is a promotion for a special in-game item if you were at GDC 2012 and picked up one of their promotional cards. Except, as far as I can tell, it only applies to new accounts, not existing accounts.

Aye, I hope so. I'd really prefer to have the bonus associated with this account and not the account I made specifically for the offer. I dislike that name.

Unfortunately the GDC signup promotion was reserved for new account holders only.
