so i was just wondering what is or if there are any rules for doing a lets play of mech warrior online and if i can montize the video

You cannot take any form of payment for any videos you make, unless PGI are willing to pay you for doing it, or says its ok for you to do so.
You would have to negotiate with PGI about that.

Making such a video at the current point in time is not a good idea in my opinion.
The reason for that is because the game is not finished, there are still missing or broken features features, and things are still subject to change.

If you wan to make a video then you can do so, but keep in mind that it will only show the games still unfinished state.
I'm not saying you should not make such a video, I'm just saying I think it would be a better idea to wait until the game is done.

If you have acces to the Beta, then you have read the NDA. It is against the NDA to record or take screenshots of a match (or any part of the game for that matter) for the duration of the Closed Beta. It will probably get your beta revoked if you do so.

The NDA is dead. I pilot a Hunch 4G with an AC/10 and twin MPLs. I kick butt with it too, surprisingly viable build. I love this game and the direction it's headed, but making a video review of it is a bad idea, as it is with most unfinished products. Monetizing it... well.. I don't even know where to start honestly :/

the NDA is dead i saw but im planing more of a lets play kinda thing but ive heard mixed stuff about monetaztion due to the fair use law like if you use your voice on comentary and its not substutible with the orginal you can still moniteze

If you want to go for money go for it, but remember MWO is a beta product and will change and if IGP and PGI has deep pockets and will protect its products if need be.
