i would think the dervish. its fairly tough, fast, and jump capable. fast jump capable med mechs are needed

though i would like to see how FD manages to make that atrocious kintaro look... practical?

Was previously mentioned that there are currently no plans for any quad mechs...

Unfortunately! :)

The Griffin is the best all around in the 55 ton range. I hope they pick it. If not then the Wolverine is also a good mech.

I would love to see the bushwacker as well but the timeline makes that far from a sure thing, even with its popularity.

This game is not gonna be totally based on time line and if thats the case we won't see many mechs in the life time of MWO

the time line is a bunch of bologna

I agree with you on that. At some point they will have to jump off the timeline to introduce mechs that are considered favorites from other timelines. I personally would love to see the Uziel.

We wont? Really? Because the revised version of the 3025 book had 55 mechs in it... not including variants. What qualifies as "many"? They have plenty of choices based on the timeline. They just maybe don't have a bunch of Uziels to pick from.

Most likely candidate is the Dervish unless they decide to man up and start using some Reseen. (Which are legal!)

Kintaro is almost identical, really.

If they do go with a Reseen, Wolverine makes the most sense (and is AWESOME.)

Bushwacker :D

In all seriousness, the Bushwacker is so close that we might see it introduced along with the Clan invasion, even if it is a little early. It wouldn't surprise me, anyway.

Dude its off a freakin book. you have to take time and a good ammount of effort in creating and making these mech, its not a simple task. so people need to stop comparing this game off the book because you guys will be disappointed

Unfortunately, the Unseen mechs like Shadow Hawk wouldn't be introduced into the game. :)

Speaking of 55 ton, we need a 45 ton mech as well. Yes, I said 45 ton medium mech. Now, bring me Vindicator.

Although I wished for Bushwacker, one of my favorite IS mechs, it wouldn't be introduced until less than a decade later after when Mad Dog appeared.

Actually, Bushwacker is 3-4 years out. We're in 3049 (3050 when game launches) and the Bushwacker comes out in 3053.

Sorry, my bad. But then again, the Bushwacker still need a Mag Dog's (Vulture's) schematics to perfect its design as the prototypes' design were flawed because of the problems in engine shielding as the result of the favored smaller forward profile design. Somewhat as similar as the USSR favored the low silhouette profile for their tanks in real-life.

Still, we might get to use the prototype version of Bushwacker before 3053.

I don't care what it is, long as it has jump jets, two brawler mediums without them is more than enough :)

A: We will be adding a 55 ton Inner Sphere Mech at some point, yes. [Garth]

What mech could it possibly be: http://www.sarna.net...ton_BattleMechs?
Assuming no unseen/reseen, I'm thinking:

Dervish
http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Dervish

Kintaro
http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Kintaro

I´m no quad fan...but Scorpion would and could be funny http://www.sarna.net...on_(BattleMech)
