We are mostly a casual Merc unit, with some competitive opportunities and players too.


We're here to have fun, to enjoy the game, and to play with others, so don't worry about not having a good enough
KDR (kill/death ratio), we're all about the team as a whole and helping each other with figuring out what works best and to grow as a unit.

I would like to extend an invitation to you for your consideration concerning our mercenary unit for employment. We are the:

Boondock Highlanders

About us:

The Boondock Highlanders are a MechWarrior Online mercenary organization based off the planet Boondock in Davion space on the border of the Periphery. We are a medium RP group in that some of our members absolutely enjoy the BattleTech lore and some of our members know very little.

Our group was formed by five former NCOs of the United States Marine Corps with combat experience in Iraq. The Boondock Highlanders utilize their experience and training by transferring it to game battle tactics focusing on communication and coordination. As such, we are formed and operate as a military unit with ranks and positions of command.

What we can offer you:

An opportunity to be a part of a cohesive group that likes to have fun and destroy the enemy.

Get in on the ground floor and work your way into a position of leadership and lead your fellow mechwarriors into battle.

A TS3 server for battle communication and relaxing between battles.

What we are looking for:

Experience is preferable but not required.

We need all classes of mechs from Assaults to Lights at this time.

We want you to have a role within our organization, if you have a skill let us know and where force limits allow we will try to get you assigned. If you don't know what you want to do, we'll try and help you figure it out.

We prefer for you to have a mic when you participate in both Quickplay and Faction Warfare.
