...As a Battlefield 3 competitive player, we are used to being able to MOVE the minimap to our desired location!
Not only is the Minimap in MWO NOT moveable, but it sits right in the middle/bottom of the screen, and if you attempt to "free" arm shoot some mechs below you, it blocks the mech!!!
ALSO, another MAJOR FLAW; when the minimap is OPEN, you cannot turn or maneuveur your mech!!! Many situationally-aware players like myself, NEED to move the mech while the map is open to see positioning and control my mech!
AND.....
How much is it to ask to get the SAME "toggle forward/reverse" feature like in MECHWARRIOR 4 Vengeance + Mercenaries?
When you hit TOGGLE REVERSE, your mech was in REVERSE and if you hit 100% throttle, it would go 100% throttle, but continue BACKWARDS!!!
....In MWO however, if you hit toggle REVERSE, and hit 100% throttle, the mech goes FORWARD, Making poptarting more DIFFICULT because you CANNOT go BACKWARDS from a stationary position without hitting 100% throttle first THEN invert throttle!
Like I said, back in MW4, from 0 speed/stationary, all you needed to do was hit "toggle reverse" then hit 100% throttlle, making the movement more fluid and adding the "poptarting"/sniping dynamic to the battlefield!
Please someone add support or repost this so we can get these features fixed for the release of Mechwarrior Online!
